Compare the same view over time

Choose a viewpoint that can be reached without obstructing other visitors. Take a photograph and note the date, weather and direction you are looking. Follow any photography restrictions at the site.

On another visit, return to approximately the same place. Compare the shapes, colors and amount of visible space. Notice changes in both plants and the way people use the garden.

Keep the images together with brief notes. Avoid drawing a sweeping conclusion from two visits, but use the comparison to form new questions for the next one.
